Pickfords is looking for a dynamic International Move Manager who is passionate about customer service and who has a proven track record of taking ownership and going the extra mile to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction. Pickfords is a market leading national and international brand, with 400 years of history. The company provides move management services to a diverse range of clients including UK home movers, international expats, UK and international businesses and government departments.

Job role:

  • To ensure the highest level of move management is offered to clients throughout the move process, thus ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • To maximise the job profitability of allocated moves through tight cost control.
  • To proactively liaise with internal service departments and service partners.
  • To arrange and book all services with internal departments, partners and suppliers ensuring that the client’s expectations are met and consistent service excellence is provided.

Job type: Full time / Permanent / Monday - Friday

Job responsibilities:

  • Be the one point of contact throughout the customer’s journey which involves understanding the customer’s needs and in turn improving the customer’s experience. You will be expected to maintain excellent customer service and communication standards at all times.
  • To ensure enquiries, bookings, and moves are actioned in a timely manner, with all documentation accurately checked before processing.
  • To meet transportation and accounting deadlines.
  • Identify and maximise sales opportunities and up-sell products and services to the customer.
  • Consistently work to company and legal standards when processing documentation.
  • Support the rest of the team and partake in team meetings and briefings when planned, making a positive contribution.

Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Customer-centric with the ability to create a great customer experience and build rapport with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Strong administration and problem solving capability.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a large number of job files efficiently.
  • Commercial awareness to maximize job profitability.
  • Flexible approach and adaptable to change.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • A passion for completing all tasks to the highest standard and be driven by results.

License/Certification:

  • Driving licence (preferred)
