The Senior Hub-Meals on Wheels OAAFC is seeking a part-time Homemaker to assist our clients in maintaining their homes. The agency serves as the county’s office on aging providing programs and services to improve health, connection, and independent living for those 60 and older living in Fairfield County.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-home duties according to care plan instructions, work to include but not be limited to:
  • Changing bed linens
  • Laundry
  • Vacuuming
  • Dusting
  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Washing dishes
  • Washing windows (indoor)
  • Cleaning & sanitizing bathrooms

This position is 25-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, as scheduled between the hours of 9a-3p.

Requirements

  • Ability to daily lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in routine homemaking & chores
  • 18+ years of age
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license, safe driving record, and proof of insurance
