We design and supply solutions to a diverse customer base, including schools needing extra classrooms, commercial businesses needing additional office space and construction sites needing a complex of offices and welfare facilities.
Job Details
- £16.05 per hour
- Based at our depot in Totton, Southampton
- 45 hours per week - 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
- Overtime hours paid at one and a half times basic hourly rate
- Opportunity to earn up to an additional £2 per hour through a merit scheme
The Role
As part of the depot’s operations team, you will help maintain and prepare our fleet of temporary buildings and portable cabins to ensure units are safe, fully functional and ready for customer use. The role involves a range of hands-on tasks, from basic cleaning and maintenance to installation of internal fixtures such as doors, windows, wall partitions, kitchens and sanitary ware.
About You
You’ll be multi-skilled with expertise in a range of industrial trades such as joinery, plumbing and electrics gained from working in construction, property maintenance or ideally the temporary or modular building industry. You’ll be someone who strives to meet deadlines, whilst always working safely and maintaining quality standards and be able to work effectively with colleagues. Our work primarily takes place outdoors, so you should be prepared to be exposed to extremes of weather, as well as being physically able to manoeuvre large temporary building components.
The Company plans to relocate the depot to Alton in Hampshire in the next 18 to 24 months and therefore expects applicants to be able to commute to this location.
