We are looking for a Lead Repair Engineer to join our team at the Scotland Regional Office. The purpose of the role is to lead and deliver high-quality lift repair, maintenance, and fault-finding activities across the Scotland region. The role provides technical expertise, leadership, and support to engineering teams while ensuring safe working practices, customer satisfaction, and efficient service delivery. Through effective planning and problem solving, the role contributes to operational performance and business success.
- Technical Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out a wide range of lift repairs, maintenance activities, and routine call-outs across a variety of lift manufacturers and equipment types, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
- Repair Project Leadership: Lead repair activities on site, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of workmanship.
- Fault Finding & Problem Solving: Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults, delivering effective technical solutions to minimise equipment downtime.
- Team Leadership & Support: Provide guidance, support, and technical expertise to Engineers working on repair projects, promoting best practice and high performance.
- Customer Liaison: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, providing professional communication, technical advice, and progress updates as required.
- Management Collaboration: Liaise regularly with regional management and engineering teams to ensure repair activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and completed.
