What You Can Expect as a Group Junior Video Production & 3D Visualizer at Pickering:
Create photo-realistic renders for use in Pickering literature and animations, and create marketing videos and literature. The purpose of this role is to maintain/improve the brand image. This contributes to Pickering’s goals by improving the quality and timeliness of sales enablement and promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create instructional and marketing videos based on information received from the marketing/design departments using Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro.
- Use Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop to create marketing literature.
- Produce 3D renders of new and existing Pickering products for use in marketing and technical literature based on information received from the marketing/design departments.
- Produce 3D animations of new and existing Pickering products for web and marketing purposes based on information received from the marketing department.
- Modify and create 3D models in Solidworks for use in rendering.
- Create textures in Photoshop of Pickering components (PCB’s, relay labels, displays etc.).
- Set up Keyshot environments (lighting, textures and cameras) to achieve photo-realistic results.
- Post-process renders in Photoshop to add effects and additional details.
- Edit animations into promotional videos with titles.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in 3D design, graphic design, or a related subject.
- A proven track record in the production of 3D visualisations, videos and animations.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency using Keyshot, Solidworks, Blender and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Modelling, rendering and post-production experience.
- The ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Clear communication and creative problem-solving ability.
- Self-motivated.
- Good organisational skills.
