Pickard And Co Accountants Limited are looking for graduate and part qualified individuals to train to become ACCA qualified accountants at our office in Sale, Greater Manchester (GB). The roles are full time, and 100% office based.

Your duties will include assisting our team with:

  • Preparation of Incorporated and Unincorporated accounts
  • Preparation of Personal tax computations and returns
  • Preparation of Corporation tax computations and returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Preparation of monthly payrolls and CIS returns
  • Bookkeeping and preparation of books of prime record

You will be provided with:

  • Salary of £26,000 to £30,000 per annum subject to ACCA exam passes and exemptions that you hold
  • Paid day release with a specialist training provider including all ACCA study packs, courses and exams (worth up to £7,000 per annum in addition to your salary)
  • Paid professional membership subscriptions
  • Continuous inhouse training for soft skills and professional development
  • Structured development and leadership training
  • Minimum 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays
  • Auto-enrolment pension scheme

Successful applicants will have a degree with a minimum of 2:1 Honours and:

  • Provide details of any ACCA exam passes and/or exemptions that they hold
  • Be highly motivated individuals
  • Be self-motivated towards studies
  • Work with accuracy, integrity, and honesty
  • Be capable of clear oral and written communication in English
  • Be adaptable, reliable, punctual and presentable
  • Maintain a positive outlook working within a team

We are unable to provide any form of visa sponsorship, so candidates must be a UK/Irish citizen or already possess a current UK Working Visa.
