Your core responsibilities will include:
- Delivering a variety of projects, from small to medium size, in different sectors, through all stages of a project.
- Leading the design, detailing, specification, and coordination of projects from inception to completion.
- Communicating with the client and all members of the project team at all times.
- Organising necessary meetings and project reviews with input from Senior Landscape Architect.
About You
Our ideal Chartered Landscape Architect will have:
- Degree and master’s qualification in Landscape Architecture.
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI), having successfully completed the Pathway to Chartership (P2C) programme.
- Experience in hard and soft landscape design, supported by good plant and construction knowledge and working knowledge of the British planning system.
- Knowledge of forms of appointment and construction contracts.
- Site experience.
- Ability to use various computer software programmes relevant to role (AutoCad, Vectorworks, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup) and ability to produce accurate technical detailing.
- Inquisitive nature, with a passion for design.
- Ability to express your design ideas through hand drawings or rough sketching.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
- Team player, with the ability to work independently with at times, limited supervision.
