Apprentice Civil Engineer – Water Our Opportunity Are you looking to be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering outstanding places and spaces that create lasting value for clients and communities for generations to come? If you have an interest in construction and engineering and an ambition to progress onto higher education, join us for an apprenticeship in our Civil Engineering Water team. Your enthusiastic and proactive nature will enable you to support the production of plans, designs, and documentation for our associated projects, with full support from the team around you. In addition, you will print copies of drawings, correspondence, and other documents, undertake necessary filing, archiving and utilise your IT skills to assist with compiling reports. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain broad experience of a multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy. You will initially attend a local college on a day release basis to study, as well as benefit from the coaching and guidance of our experienced Chartered Engineers. We encourage progression onto higher education up to and including degree level. As an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, architects, and designers you’ll learn and collaborate together, creating holistic designs that make a meaningful impact on the built environment. Find out what it is like to start your career with us here: Early careers – Pick Everard About You Our ideal Civil Engineering Apprentice will have: An interest in construction and engineering Motivation to progress onto higher education Good numeracy (GCSE Maths grade C or level 4 or equivalent) GCSE grade C or level 4 English 3 A Levels or NVQ Level 3 or Level 3 BTEC in an associated subject (Design/ Technology/IT) or access to Higher Education Diploma It would be nice for you to have: A good eye for detail A willingness to attend site inspections on occasion under the supervision of an engineer Ability to work well in a team Enthusiasm, a proactive work ethic and willingness to take on responsibility.
