We are on the look-out for an exceptional individual with a natural acumen to join our Sales Team in our office in the London Bridge area as a Grocery National Account Manager. Our chosen new team member will have a real get-stuff-done style, who can interact easily within our customers in a fast-moving nimble SME environment. More about the role
You will be responsible for developing new and building on existing relationships with customers creating bold and exciting growth plans. You will be a core part of the sales team, managing a portfolio of mainly Grocery accounts with some non-Grocery to deliver measurable results.
Your main responsibilities:
- Leading strong sustainable customer relationships with our grocery buyers and their surrounding team.
- Proactive management of sales into accounts, whilst ensuring budgets and targets are achieved.
- Ownership of the P&L and commercial negotiations.
- Develop the customer strategic business plan including an aligned promo, activation plan, & investment plan.
- S&OP Forecasting – provide clear up to date inputs into the weekly and monthly process.
You will have:
- 1 year sales experience within an SME Food & Drink brand managing non-Grocery and Grocery accounts.
- Strong selling ability & experience selling into and managing Grocery accounts.
- Ability and experience using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Good negotiating skills.
- A “get-things-done” attitude and ability to work to deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and proactivity to seek new opportunities.
- Great multitasking and organisational ability.
About You
You’ll have a demonstrable track record in FMCG sales working with UK retailers within an SME brand. Enthusiastic, pragmatic and resilient, you can demonstrate your agility to transition at pace, work to tight deadlines, communicate effectively and motivate team members around you to help support your objectives.
