IT VIP Support Analyst (Executive “White Glove” Support) – On-Site, Central London
Location: Central London (on-site, with occasional travel)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week, on-call evenings/weekends)
Role Purpose
We’re seeking an experienced IT professional to provide “white glove” technical support to executive and VIP stakeholders at a global head office in Central London. In this high-visibility, on-site role, you’ll deliver first-class, business-critical IT support, ensuring seamless technology experiences for senior leadership. You’ll use a Service Management tool to log and resolve incidents, collaborate with internal IT teams and third-party vendors, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and discretion. Flexibility for on-call support (evenings/weekends) is required, with additional compensation provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, high-quality technical support to executive and VIP teams, prioritising urgent and business-critical issues
- Build, configure, and manage laptops, PCs (Windows & Macs), and devices to the highest standard
- Install and support desktop applications, ensuring optimal performance for senior stakeholders
- Provide emergency IT assistance and rapid response to VIP incidents
- Log, track, and escalate support requests using a Service Management tool
- Collaborate with central IT teams and external providers to resolve complex issues
- Maintain and support technical equipment, including video conferencing systems and printers
- Deliver training, inductions, and tech walkthroughs for executives and VIPs
- Manage user access (e.g., Active Directory) and oversee hardware procurement
- Record and maintain technical assets and IT documentation
- Liaise with third-party vendors as needed
- Promote security and technical best practices across the office
- Troubleshoot telecoms and mobile device issues
About You
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a proven track record supporting VIPs and executives
- Discretion, professionalism, and a proactive, “can do” attitude
- Strong knowledge of end-user hardware, desktop operating systems, and software
- Experience with IT Service Management tools and the ITIL framework
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to troubleshooting
- Energy and initiative to continually enhance the quality and reputation of IT support
