IT Support Engineer providing 2nd/3rd Line Support is required by a highly reputable professional services firm paying up to £55k, and located at their head office based in close proximity to Piccadilly Circus. This position holds responsibility for providing advanced technical support to all employees based at head office, being the escalation point within the team and taking ownership of a wide array of issues from cradle to grave., Provide 2nd/3rd line support, including troubleshooting, configuring devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
Support Microsoft Office apps and the firm’s document management system.
Handle user account set-up and daily administration.
Follow security protocols for data imports/exports.
Assist with IT projects, such as Windows 11 roll-out
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Intune environments.
Perform server updates and escalate issues as necessary.
Implement and maintain Service Desk processes and policies.
Oversee Security and Compliance tasks.
Provide AV support for internal and client meetings.
Adhering to all processes and professional standards
Research, document, and share new IT solutions.
Provide assistance in ad hoc IT projects.Experience
The environment itself is heavily Microsoft focused and with that in mind we are seeking someone with a solid understanding of Microsoft stack, Windows 10/11, Intune Administration, and familiar working in a professional, fast paced environment with the enthusiasm to roll up their sleeves when needs be., Previous experience in a professional services environment (preferably in Legal, Accounting, Finance, or LLP sectors) is required.
Familiarity with iManage is advantageous, but not mandatory.
Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Experience with the daily administration of Active Directory (including account creation and managing group memberships).
Basic networking knowledge, including patching and understanding of DNS/DHCP.
