We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to drive strong business outcomes across a growing, mixed portfolio of predominantly Build-to-Rent (BTR) assets, alongside selected commercial properties and affordable homes acquired by PIC’s FPRP, Verda Living.
This role plays a key part in enhancing asset performance, delivering value for policyholders, and ensuring positive outcomes for residents while protecting the Company’s brand and market reputation Specific accountabilities assigned to the role of Asset Managerwithin PIC Capital: Takes ownership of the oversight and governance of the third party Managing Agent/s (MA), monitoring performance, making day to day operational decisions as well as long term strategic decisions.
Responsible for conducting regular meetings with the MA to review asset performance, whilst keeping accurate records of such meetings, the outcomes, and overseeing any actions through to conclusion in a timely manner.
Provide excellent oversight of the MA performance to ensure it is in line with the Property Management Agreement, by directing the MA on day to day operational matters.
Manage stakeholder relationships including local authorities, regulators, lenders, community groups, and development partners.
Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks, consumer standards, rent-setting regimes, and funding conditions across the asset base.
Lead responses to regulatory reviews, audits, inspections, and in-depth assessments, coordinating internal teams and external advisers.
Drive social impact outcomes, balancing affordability, quality of homes, and resident wellbeing.
Prepare and implement comprehensive strategies to enhance asset performance, that demonstrate sound analysis and recommendations of the management information provided by the MA.
