Are you a super talented and creative Video Producer & Photographer looking to join an expanding team and take on your next big career step? Here at Pic, we’re a growing agency with big plans, and with big plans we need an ever bigger team. Video is an integral part of our offering and we’re looking for someone who can produce quality work for a broad range of clients across multiple sectors all over the UK – and occasionally in Europe.
Ideally, you’d have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, a good understanding of agency life (preferably having worked in a video/marketing/PR agency before) as well as having a solid understanding of modern day communications (video, PR, social and how they can work together). You’ll need to be well organised, personable, and creative. Applicants should be comfortable working with others, be able to write a story, creatively shoot and manage post production, as well as liaise with clients throughout the production process. Managing client feedback is important if we’re to produce good work that’s right for them.
So what’ll you be doing day-to-day?
- Liaising with retained clients to understand their needs.
- Storyboarding and scripting, guiding clients through these processes.
- Organising shoots, managing logistics and briefing the senior team on your plans.
- Understanding briefs and interpreting them into a video communication plan for clients.
- Selecting suitable music and using it effectively in an edit.
- Working with Adobe After Effects occasionally.
- Experimenting with new techniques and editing styles.
- Making creative decisions based on briefs.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3+ years experience in a video production agency or similar.
- The confidence to self-shoot.
- Experience in photography, with a passion for framing, composition and creativity.
- An extensive video editing knowledge, preferably in Da Vinci Resolve, but Premiere Pro is acceptable.
- Experience working with the Sony A7 series or similar.
- Good knowledge in Adobe After Effects.
- Able to look for creative ways to tell a story using interviews, props, graphics, and other techniques.
- The ability to take direction and recognise client needs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Scripting and interviewing skills.
- The ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel.
- Creative thinker with an interest in PR/Marketing.
- Polished and professional appearance.
- Good presentation skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Calmness under pressure and ability to achieve tight deadlines.
- A real passion for digital communications and sales.
- Positive attitude and a fun and friendly demeanour.
- A good sense of humour.
