The Role

  • Cable Assembly - Follow the procedures specified by Company to make hybrid fibre optic cable assemblies and other audio/video cable assemblies.
  • Maintenance of cable assemblies - Inspect cable assemblies and troubleshoot all possible problems. Document problems and suggestions on maintenance and repair in test report.
  • Onsite support and services - On request and arrangement of Company, visit end-users and customers to provide field services for onsite installation and maintenance on hybrid fibre-optic cables and related products.
  • Training - On Company's requests, to conduct training on hybrid fibre optic cables assembly, maintenance etc, to end-users and customers.
  • Workmanship and Quality Control - Ensure that all end products meet company's workmanship and quality standard.
  • Workshop Management - Accountable for all tooling, parts/consumables usages and report such movement to planning department at the required timeline.

Operate all machineries and apparatus with due diligence and ensure workshop is clean and safe place to work.

  • Work efficiency and improvement - Schedule and plan output of cable assemblies to meet overall demand.

What Do You Need to Have?

  • GCE N Level and above qualification.
  • Candidates with prior working experience in cable assembly is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely. MUST be physically fit - must be able to carry cable up to 30kg.
