We’re seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join our People Team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, commercially aligned ER service across our UK and international operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and confident ER professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You’ll act as a trusted partner to managers and colleagues, providing expert guidance and coaching on a wide range of ER issues and ensuring best practice is applied consistently.
You’ll work closely with People Partners, Legal, and business leaders, supporting the delivery of our people strategy and helping shape a positive employee experience across PIB Group.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage complex and sensitive ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence management, and appeals.
- Coach and support line managers to build their ER capability and confidence in handling people matters.
- Advise on employment law and internal policies, ensuring fair and consistent application across the business.
- Partner with People Partners and Legal to manage risk and drive early intervention and resolution.
- Support the development of ER frameworks, policies, and tools to enable a best-practice approach across PIB Group.
- Contribute to projects that enhance employee engagement, ER processes, and organisational effectiveness.
- (Desirable) Provide guidance and insight on ER matters in international jurisdictions as we continue to expand across Europe.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Senior ER or ER Advisor role, ideally within a complex, multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice ER case management.
- A coaching mindset with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Comfortable managing a varied and high-volume caseload with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A law or legal background would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting international ER activity would be a plus.
