Employee Benefits adopts an approach of supporting organisations across all areas of financial and non-financial rewards that meet the needs of a business and its employees. This includes healthcare, corporate pensions, risk, employee benefit communications and employee benefits technology.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Deputy Head of Corporate to co-lead our Corporate Consulting Team (currently 16 staff) and help shape our proposition for mid to large corporate clients.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Co-leading the Corporate Consulting Team alongside the Head of Corporate, providing day-to-day leadership to Employee Benefits Consultants and the wider Corporate team.
  • Driving our client proposition and strategy, helping to evolve and differentiate our offering for UK and international corporate clients.
  • Owning operational and financial performance - overseeing workflows, consulting processes and MI, tracking income, pipeline and forecasts, and addressing underperformance proactively.
  • Direct line management of five Corporate Consultants.
  • Leading on key client relationships, maintaining a small portfolio of corporate clients (around 10 within Healthcare and Risk) and acting as a strategic advisor on their benefits strategy, renewals and market reviews.
  • Acting as an escalation and senior point of contact, resolving complex client issues and representing senior leadership in key client and prospect meetings.
  • Ensuring quality and compliance, overseeing adherence to FCA, internal policies and Conduct Rules, and driving continuous improvement in processes and deliverables.
  • Collaborating across the business, working with Sales, Client Support, Operations and wider PIB Group to deliver seamless service, allocate new business and generate referrals.
What we’re looking for:
  • Significant experience (c.7-10 years) in consultancy or client service roles, with 2 years+ in a leadership position, ideally within employee benefits or financial services.
  • Deep technical knowledge of corporate employee benefits (overall knowledge of pensions, healthcare, risk, flexible and international benefits, and benefits technology), plus strong understanding of FCA requirements.
  • Proven leadership capability - managing and developing consultants, driving high performance, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strong strategic and commercial mindset, comfortable with MI, budgets, pipeline, and performance reporting, and able to translate data into actions.
  • Excellent client management and influencing skills, with a track record of retaining and growing corporate accounts and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of process improvement and operational efficiency, including capacity management, workflow optimisation, and quality assurance.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CII IF7, GR1, degree in Business/HR/Finance) are desirable but not essential; a commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of fitness & propriety is key.
