Our team at St Giles in Liverpool are looking for an Assistant Account Handler to join their growing team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting Account Handlers/Executives with day‑to‑day servicing of a portfolio of clients.
  • Preparing and processing new business, renewals and mid‑term changes, including obtaining quotations and checking all policy documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate systems and records (files, computer entries, diaries/tasks), handling routine enquiries and liaising with insurers and other third parties while working to strict timescales.
  • Committing to continual professional development, expanding product and technical knowledge, and proactively identifying, reporting and helping to resolve breaches, complaints, E&O issues and QA actions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience within an administrative, customer service or support roles, ideally within insurance, financial or professional services.
  • Confident handling client queries by phone and email, building good relationships, and working accurately with data and documents.
  • A diligent individual with a strong work ethic, used to working to deadlines, managing multiple tasks in a busy team, and proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Any previous experience within the insurance industry/regulated environment is highly advantageous but not essential for this role.
