Homelet is looking for an organised Finance Administrator to support our finance team across a range of brands and products. You’ll help ensure accurate processing of payments, refunds and reconciliations, and provide a professional service to internal and external customers.**What we do:**We are the UK’s largest tenant referencing and specialist lettings insurance company. We provide fast, accurate and reliable tenant references to landlords and letting agents, helping them find the very best tenants for their properties.In the last three years alone, we’ve referenced more than a million tenants!This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a successful, supportive and forward-thinking business.**What will I be doing?**In this role you will be responsible for reconciling and processing daily direct debits and associated reports, and carrying out all statement reconciliation, direct debit and credit card activities in line with Company procedures and guidelines.You will handle client and customer queries efficiently, promptly and professionally, including supporting the finance telephone line by answering queries, taking payments and applying them accurately.You will manage busy finance email inbox and will use the finance system to update information on a daily and weekly basis as required. The role also includes reconciliation of accounts, providing ad hoc analysis on request, and undertaking additional tasks and project work across the finance team as needed.**What skills and experience do I need?**You will have experience in a finance or accounts environment, with strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail and good Excel/finance system skills. You’ll be well organised, able to manage deadlines, and a clear, professional communicator who works well as part of a team and takes pride in getting things right.
