Looking for a foot in the door of the insurance industry? We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic Claims Handler to join our Liverpool claims team. This role involves managing the end-to-end buildings insurance claims, supporting our clients through each stage, and ensuring fair and timely claim resolutions.
This role is very customer focused, requiring you to provide a professional and excellent claims service to our clients from first notification to settlement.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and manage claims from initial notification to settlement.
- Maintain our partnerships with clients and external service providers.
- Assess and validate claims documentation and evidence.
- Provide regular and clear updates to clients regarding claim status.
- Provide settlements within designated authority levels.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Detect and escalate potential fraudulent claims.
- Basic qualifications in English & Maths.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
- Previous Claims Handling knowledge would be helpful but not essential.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
