We are seeking an experienced Principal Designer / CDM Adviser to join our Construction team in providing expert technical guidance ensuring best-practice health and safety consultancy.
What you'll be doing
- Act as Principal Designer / CDM adviser ensuring compliance across all RIBA stages through to handover.
- Lead H&S: design reviews, principles of prevention, H&S files, audits, risk assessments and method statements.
- Deliver end-to-end project management: site inspections, reporting, finance tracking and document control.
- Enable outcomes: advise stakeholders (clients / designers / contractors / legal), support PQQs / fee bids / marketing, improve services and train / mentor juniors.
What we're looking for
- Qualified Technician or working towards Chartered (or equivalent) with H&S credentials (NEBOSH Construction / General minimum).
- Extensive construction and PD / CDM experience with demonstrable sector expertise under CDM regulations.
- Strong organisation and administration; proficient in MS Office; reliable delivery against fee targets.
- Client-focused relationship builder and confident communicator (written and verbal) representing the business professionally.
- Positive team player who can work independently; committed to high-quality dependable CDM services.
