You'll be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, a strong storyteller, and someone who can translate complex or sensitive topics into clear, consistent messaging for audiences across a global organisation.
We are happy to consider different types of working arrangements for this position. Working part-time or flexibly if preferred. Salary up to 85k.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Delivery
- Support the Head of Attraction and Belonging in shaping and delivering the global communications strategy
- Translate broader business, people, and brand priorities into practical communications plans
- Ensure consistency of tone, messaging, and narrative across internal and external channels
- Executive & Strategic Communications
- Own the communications plan for executing and cascading business strategy, ensuring employees globally understand priorities, progress, and what it means for them
- Act as a trusted advisor and ghostwriter for senior executives, shaping keynote speeches, town halls, all-hands messaging, and executive narrative

- Own the cadence and quality of executive communications, ensuring leaders show up consistently and authentically across channels
- Internal Communications
- Own the internal comms calendar, ensuring employees globally are informed, engaged, and aligned with company priorities
- Partner with HR, People, and business leaders to communicate organisational change, culture initiatives, and key announcements
- Develop channels and formats that work for a distributed, global workforce
- External PR & Reputation
- Manage relationships with media, journalists, and external agencies as needed
- Support the development of press releases, statements, and reactive/proactive media lines
- Protect and build the company's external reputation, working closely with leadership on positioning and messaging
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 comms professionals

- Act as a role model for the standard and craft of communications across the business

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with European stakeholders, ensuring regional nuance is reflected in messaging and channels
- Support newly acquired businesses through integration, helping new colleagues understand the group's strategy, culture, and ways of working
About You

- Experience managing and developing a team
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to flex tone and format across audiences and channels
- Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and advising on sensitive or high-profile topics
- Calm under pressure, pragmatic, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- Experience supporting (rather than solely owning) a broader strategy, working well within a senior leadership structure
What Success Looks Like
- A comms strategy that is consistently and effectively delivered across the global organisation
- A high-performing, well-supported team of 3
- Strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and media contacts
