Acquinex is PIB Group’s specialist transactional risk business, supporting complex corporate transactions with tailored insurance solutions and market‑leading expertise. This is an opportunity to join a high‑performing, specialist team at the centre of sophisticated deal‑related claims work. The role will see you managing transactional risk claims from first notification through to resolution across W&I, tax and contingent risk policies. You’ll assess coverage, review key deal documentation and evidence, work closely with underwriters, brokers, insureds and advisers, and help drive fair, commercial outcomes on complex and high‑value matters.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified lawyer, ideally with 2‑6 years’ PQE experience in insurance claims, disputes/litigation, M&A advisory or a related role
- Strong understanding of contractual, corporate or M&A risk
- Confident reviewing policy wordings, transaction documents and supporting evidence
- Strong communication, drafting and negotiation skills with a pragmatic approach

What you will be responsible for:
- Taking ownership of assigned claims and managing them through to closure
- Drafting coverage letters, reservation of rights and settlement positions
- Instructing and managing external legal advisers and experts where needed
- Maintaining accurate claims records, reserves and reporting information
- Contributing to process improvement and claims insight across the portfolio
