PIB Group is a fast-growing, ambitious insurance group with a clear strategic vision and a commitment to operational excellence. As we scale, we’re investing in the infrastructure and leadership capability that keeps us performing at our best and this role sits right at the heart of that.
This is a senior, high-visibility position within our Group COO function, a trusted partner to our COO and a critical enabler of how we govern, monitor, and improve our operations across the Group. You’ll work across functions and regions, acting as an extension of COO leadership: gathering insight, holding stakeholders to account, and ensuring our operational performance is clearly understood, well-governed, and continuously improving.
This isn’t a role for someone who wants to stay in their lane. It’s for someone who thrives on complexity, builds strong relationships at all levels, and knows how to turn information into action.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning the governance and reporting rhythm for our Group Operations Committee, from inputs to outputs
- Tracking and communicating operational performance in a way that drives accountability and improvement
- Building trusted relationships with regional and functional leaders, as well as outsourced partners
- Supporting policy oversight, contract governance, and ad hoc strategic initiatives on behalf of the COO
- Acting as a connector and challenge function, keeping things honest, joined up, and moving
What we’re looking for:
- A track record in senior operational, governance, or COO office roles, ideally in a complex, multi-site environment
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information for senior audiences
- Genuine credibility with senior stakeholders, and the confidence to challenge constructively
- Experience with performance frameworks, committee governance, or third-party oversight would be an advantage
- Someone who brings energy, judgement, and a bias for action
