Overview

Fairfield School of Business (FSB) is an OFS registered private higher education provider founded in 2006 with campuses in London, Birmingham, Leicester, Sheffield and Luton. We provide industry-relevant qualifications in business, digital marketing, criminology, counselling and healthcare management in partnership with three leading UK universities. We also provide Masters and MBA degrees.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Business to support existing and new programmes. The successful candidate will plan and deliver lectures, supervise dissertations and perform other duties that contribute to student engagement and success.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver lectures for undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
  • Supervise student dissertations.
  • Contribute to student engagement and success through teaching, assessment and academic guidance.
  • Contribute to program development and academic service as required.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience teaching and learning at undergraduate, postgraduate or equivalent level
  • Work experience within the relevant field
  • Experience supervising dissertations
  • Relevant Master’s degree
  • PG Certificate in Higher Education or other Level 7 teaching qualification
  • Fellow member (FHEA) of Advance HE

Desirable

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Relevant academic research experience
