Ideal candidates: Minimum of 3-4 years' experience handling Lloyd's global property claims.
Role Contribution: As a Claims Specialist, you will handle complex claims, mentor junior team members, and build relationships with key clients and stakeholders to strengthen my clients market role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust property and construction claims worldwide
- Manage third-party service providers and external legal advisors
- Develop strong working relationships with clients and brokers
- Handle Company Market and Lloyd's Syndicate claims
- Support junior colleagues with complex cases
- Evaluate coverage and reserve analysis
- Coordinate with underwriters, Risk Management, Actuarial teams, and Ceded Reinsurance team
- Record and manage claims files
Qualifications:
- Understanding of the London Market in relevant classes of business
- Experience in insurance claims, preferably in property/construction
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Decision-making ability focused on results
- Team player mentality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a syndicate, company, or broker within claims
- Knowledge of ECF2 and London market systems like Docosoft
- Degree or diploma (CII or equivalent)
- Interest in property and construction
