We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join a vibrant early childhood education team near Chertsey, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, demonstrating strong management and leadership skills.

Duties:

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards.
  • Supervise and support children during play, meal times, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members.
  • Support the professional development of junior staff or interns through mentorship and guidance.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings, with a strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities within a childcare environment.
  • Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, able to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage daily routines efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
  • Valid DBS.
  • Valid driving licence preferred to facilitate transportation duties when necessary.
