PhysicsX is a deep-tech company with roots in numerical physics and Formula One, dedicated to accelerating hardware innovation at the speed of software. We are building an AI-driven simulation software stack for engineering and manufacturing across advanced industries. By enabling high-fidelity, multi-physics simulation through AI inference across the entire engineering lifecycle, PhysicsX unlocks new levels of optimization and automation in design, manufacturing, and operations — empowering engineers to push the boundaries of possibility. Our customers include leading innovators in Aerospace & Defense, Materials, Energy, Semiconductors, and Automotive.
We are looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager to act as the strategic link between our product capabilities and the market.
The Role
Your goal is to ensure that customers get a clear, consistent, and compelling understanding of the PhysicsX platform throughout their journey – from first encounter through to onboarding. You will sit at the intersection of Product (who build the platform), Delivery (our Forward Deployed Engineers), and Marketing & Communications (who amplify the message). This is a hybrid role. At times, you’ll work closely with Marketing & Communications to shape our platform narrative, making sure our external messaging is not only compelling, but technically rigorous and clearly differentiated. In parallel, you’ll act as a force multiplier for our Delivery and Commercial teams, equipping them with deep-dive demos, battlecards, and scalable, standardized assets that help them deploy effectively and earn technical trust.
What You Will Do
- Synthesise the Platform Narrative & Collateral
- Unify the Value Proposition: Collaborate across the Product Management team to distill complex feature sets into a single, cohesive offering.
- Build the Collateral Suite: You are the primary stakeholder for the development of high-leverage assets. You will build technical white papers, product demo videos, and other assets that demonstrate platform functionality and provide the "proof" behind our value proposition.
- Announce New Capabilities: Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to develop the strategy for launching new features. You ensure that when we ship code, the market understands exactly why it matters and how it fits into the broader platform vision.
- Drive Launch Readiness: You ensure our Delivery and Commercial teams are fully briefed on what is shipping, how to use it, and how to articulate the specific value it brings to their customers.
- Own the Platform Introduction & Demo Strategy: Identify the most powerful ways to showcase the platform. Script, storyboard, and build the demos that prove our technical capability while reinforcing the core narrative.
- Develop User Onboarding & Tutorials: Identify and create the educational content that helps users succeed. From training workshops and "getting started" video series to technical walkthroughs, you help reduce the learning curve for new users.
- Equip the FDEs: Our Delivery team works on the ground with enterprise customers. You will treat them as a primary audience, creating battlecards, standard slides, and technical FAQs so they don’t have to reinvent the wheel for every client engagement.
- Internal Education: Run sessions to ensure the Delivery team is up-to-speed on the latest roadmap items and knows how to pitch the newest features effectively.
- Synthesize Market Signals: Collect and distill patterns from competitive analysis, and win/loss reviews. Surface insights about which value propositions land strongest, and where competitors are shifting their positioning.
- Test GTM Narratives: Before launch, validate that our messaging lands. Run positioning tests with target customers.
- Build Case Studies: Work with customers, Delivery, and Marketing & Communications to validate success. Turn raw engineering results into polished case studies that prove our platform shines in the real world.
- Voice of the Customer: Synthesise feedback from demos, pitches, and training sessions and feed it back to Product to help shape the roadmap.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Track record in a B2B technology environment or open source developer relations specifically within complex software, deep tech, or engineering sectors. Alternatively, you come from a Solution Engineering or Pre-Sales background and have successfully pivoted into a strategy role.
- A Portfolio of Technical Content: You are a "maker." You have proven experience scripting and creating high-quality technical assets, including slide decks, white papers, demo videos, and tutorials.
- Synthesis & Storytelling: You possess the ability to distill complex, disparate technical features into a single, cohesive value proposition. You can demonstrate how you have successfully aligned product capabilities with customer business value in the past.
- Hands-on Technical Aptitude: You are not afraid of a UI. You have the ability to learn software quickly, run workflows independently to capture content, and record demos without engineering support.
- Technical Confidence & Basic Coding: You are comfortable with the concepts of Data Science and ML well enough to construct demos that are not just pretty, but credible. You have the technical confidence to tweak a Python script or adjust parameters independently to get a demo working.
- Engineering industry knowledge: Familiar with engineering tools and workflows and able to speak credibly with engineering stakeholders in industrial contexts (e.g., A&D, automotive, semiconductors, energy, materials).
