Justteachers is seeking a committed Physics Teacher to support a well regarded secondary school in Sowerby Bridge. This is a long term cover position, starting ASAP, involving delivering engaging and well structured Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4 as part of a supportive science department.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Physics lessons covering key theoretical and practical concepts.
Support students' understanding of physics principles through clear explanations and engaging demonstrations.
Use effective differentiation and assessment strategies to promote progress.
Maintain strong behaviour management to ensure a positive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team.

Pre requisites

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent Physics/Science teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Physics at secondary level.
Confident delivery of practical science and strong classroom management.
Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
Ability to provide two education based references.
