The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

TeacherActive is currently recruiting experienced and qualified Physics Teachers for day–to–day supply teaching and long–term contract opportunities across Bristol, Swindon, Somerset and Wiltshire from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to bring Physics to life by making complex physical principles accessible through modelling, problem–solving and practical work. You will plan and deliver inclusive lessons, assess progress effectively and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

The successful qualified Physics Teacher will have:

  • QTS with Physics specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching Physics up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • Strong communication, planning and assessment skills
  • A clear commitment to safe and purposeful practical work
