St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 13-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores, but it is the work beyond the curriculum that excites both students and teachers alike.

We are seeking a Physics Technician to support the Head of Department and teaching staff in delivering high-quality practical lessons. The role involves preparing, maintaining, and safely managing laboratory equipment and materials, as well as ensuring laboratories and prep areas are organised and compliant with safety regulations. The successful candidate will be a proactive and flexible team player with a strong interest in physics, good communication skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions while contributing to the smooth running of the department.

Hours: We are offering this position with two alternative hourly working patterns. Please indicate your preferred option in your application.

  • 8.30am – 4.30pm, Thursday – Friday with a one hour lunch break; all Year Around.
  • 8.30am – 4.30pm, 3 days (including Thursday & Friday) with one hour lunch break, Term Time Only.

Salary: Competitive plus benefits.
