The Role

We are looking for a Teacher of Physics who will:

  • Deliver outstanding Physics lessons that challenge, engage, and inspire our students\’ theoretical understanding, practical skills, and critical thinking across all relevant key stages.
  • Guide students in developing advanced theoretical knowledge and sophisticated practical skills.
  • Provide comprehensive academic support, including preparing students for university entrance examinations where applicable.
  • Contribute to the lively extracurricular science programme, enriching students\’ experiences beyond the classroom through Olympiad preparation, engineering projects, or science clubs.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Science Department and across the school.

Candidate Profile

  • A strong degree in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience teaching Physics to a high standard across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A–Level in the UK is essential.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, but not a barrier for an exceptional candidate with a proven track record in UK independent schools.
