TeacherActive is working in close partnership with a well–regarded secondary school in Bath, which is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join their Science department from September 2025. This is a long–term role covering a planned absence and is non–speculative the school has a clear need for an experienced specialist who can hit the ground running.

The school has a strong academic reputation, excellent leadership, and a vibrant sixth form. You ll be teaching across KS3 to KS5, so prior experience delivering A–Level Physics is essential. You ll also play a key role in supporting students through their exam preparation and ongoing curriculum.

As a Physics Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and delivering high–quality Physics lessons across KS3 KS5
• Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
• Supporting students with A–Level exam content and practical work
• Working collaboratively with a well–established Science department
• Contributing to the wider school community and enrichment opportunities

The ideal candidate will have:
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (UK or recognised overseas)
• Strong subject knowledge in Physics, with experience teaching A–Level
• A track record of engaging, inclusive teaching and good classroom management
• A proactive and professional approach to curriculum planning and delivery
