  • Dates: 14/09/2026–18/09/2026 and 05/10/2026–09/10/2026

We are seeking a qualified Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics for short–term cover at our academy.

This role involves teaching Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (A Level) and is not suitable for ECTs (NQTs).

Day–to–day of the role

  • Teach Physics to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and A Level.
  • Follow the academy's curriculum and standards to deliver high–quality lessons.
  • Engage and motivate students to achieve their highest potential.
  • Manage classroom settings and ensure a conducive learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – candidates without QTS will not be considered.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • A minimum of two satisfactory references.
  • Must be available to start in September 2026.
  • Previous experience in teaching Physics at secondary school level is essential.
