We are currently working with an outstanding and supportive secondary school in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, who are seeking a Teacher of Physics to enhance the already driven & supportive department.

£32,916 – £51,048 (M1 – UPS3)

Academics are looking to appoint a full–time teacher of Physics to start ASAP or after the February half term on a long–term supply basis until July 2025, which will extend to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

What is expected of you?

The person appointed will be expected to make a significant contribution to the academic, moral and cultural well–being of students. Applications are welcome from established teachers especially those ready to take on additional responsibilities and ECTs seeking their first teaching post within a school.

You will have:

  • A QTS or Early Careers Teacher Status (ECT) or QTLS (Further Education)
  • Experience teaching Physics
  • An engaging and dynamic style of teaching
  • Can plan and prepare lessons to a high standard

You must hold a DBS, which is on the update service or willing to take one out.
