The Experimental Particle Physics Group at the University of Bristol invites expressions of interest from outstanding researchers who wish to apply for independent research fellowships/grants hosted by our group. We are particularly keen to support applicants for University Research Fellowships (URF) and Ernest Rutherford Fellowships (ERF).

We are a diverse and active group engaged in a broad range of experimental programmes, including LHCb, CMS, DUNE, Mu3e, LZ, BESIII, SHiP, detector R&D, and medical applications. We also have strong expertise in AI and computing for particle physics. More about our research activities can be found here.

Selected candidates will then receive support from the particle physics group and the University to formulate a strong proposal.
