About Phyllis Court Club: Phyllis Court is a private members club situated in a grand riverside manor, set in 18 acres of land with 17 guest bedrooms on the River Thames in Henley‑On‑Thames and spectacular views over the river and the countryside beyond. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and respectful environment for both members and staff, with teamwork and high standards at the heart of everything we do.
The Role: Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the Club, including guest bedrooms, public areas and the Fitness Centre. This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail, teamwork and a positive attitude are essential.
Working Pattern: This role operates on a rota basis and includes a mixture of early and late shifts, including weekends and Bank holidays. Typical shifts are 7:00 am–3:00 pm or 2:00 pm–10:00 pm.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Clean public areas, toilets and back‑of‑house areas to a high standard
- Service and prepare guest bedrooms, including departure cleans
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Fitness Centre
- Restock amenities and ensure all areas are well presented at all times
- Report any maintenance issues, damages or missing items
- Work collaboratively with your team to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard
- Follow all health & safety procedures and safe working practices

- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but full training will be given on the job.
