We’re looking for the right person to join our team in the North-West as a Horticultural Supervisor. This is your chance for personal and professional growth in an established and growing company, in a role you’ll love.

As Supervisor, you will support in the management of operations and be responsible for the effective management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures. It’s hands-on, where you’ll attend sites and assist with installations, quality checks and site surveys, whilst guiding your teams in best practice and ensuring customer satisfaction. At times you may be required to assist in allocating work, routing and depot administration, interviewing, training and career management of your teams in line with company policies.

In return for your expertise, you will benefit from:

Your role as Horticultural Supervisor at phs Greenleaf:

  • You will be responsible for the training and development of staff.
  • Assisting in the planting and maintenance of our customers displays and horticultural needs.
  • You will have ownership of projects and site audits.
  • You will take the lead communicating with our customer base and resolving queries.
  • You are supplied with the tools and equipment you’ll need to provide the best quality service to our customers.

What will you need to be a Horticultural Supervisor at phs Greenleaf?

  • Your expertise will be vital in communicating job expectations, planning and monitoring of work.
  • Your knowledge and skills will be utilised to manage data across various systems and compiled reports.
  • You will be raising purchase orders and dealing with our supply chain.
  • You must hold a clean, full manual driving licence (or with less than 6 points).
  • Able to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
  • Safety and legal compliance are a must. We welcome applications from people with a good safety record.
  • As this is a physically demanding job you will be required to lift and carry on a daily basis.
  • Experience within the horticulture industry or as a supervisor/team leader will be beneficial.
  • Preferred qualifications are IPAF and/or Lantra.
