We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning Team Leader to join our Planning team at phs Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Planning function, ensuring the effective coordination, scheduling and optimisation of operational activities across the business.

Working closely with key stakeholders across Operations, you'll drive operational efficiency, manage resources effectively, and support the delivery of an excellent customer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong people leader with experience in planning, forecasting and performance management to make a real impact.

A day in the life of a Planning Team Leader at phs will involve:

  • Leading, motivating and developing the Planning Team to deliver high levels of performance and customer service.
  • Working collaboratively with Operations and key stakeholders to ensure planning activities support business objectives.
  • Monitoring team performance against agreed KPIs and implementing actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conducting regular one-to-one meetings, team meetings and performance reviews to support employee development.
  • Preparing, analysing and presenting departmental reports to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Reviewing customer and engineer feedback and implementing improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • Managing and coordinating ad hoc work activities, maximising engineer availability and utilisation.
  • Taking ownership of medium and long-term planning models across operational regions.
  • Producing accurate workload forecasts to determine resource requirements and support operational performance.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning processes, productivity and service delivery.
  • Supporting the Service Delivery function and providing cover when required.

The ideal candidate for a Planning Team Leader at phs will have:

  • Previous experience leading or supervising a team within a planning, scheduling or operational environment.
  • Experience of workforce planning, resource management or forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
