The purpose of this role is to ensure the delivery of an excellent Direct365 Customer Journey, with a clear focus on delivering sales through service. You will develop and maintain excellent relations with existing customers resulting in increased sales revenue. This is to be achieved through proactive and reactive communication with our customers.
You will deliver performances that maximise competitive advantage. You will work in a challenging, motivational culture and environment where all team members develop and demonstrate their full potential, achieving business KPIs and objectives.
Key Tasks:
- Maintain excellent knowledge of our portfolio of products to understand customers' needs.
- Deal with daily sales enquiries via live chat, telephone, and email.
- Proactively look for opportunities to up-sell products and services to enhance the customer experience, increasing revenue on inbound and outbound calls to our existing customer database.
- Quote against complex incoming sales enquiries.
- Work against agreed KPIs to ensure all personal and business targets are met.
- Maximise the conversion of sales prospects from web enquiries and other sources by regular customer contact.
- Close sales opportunities through negotiation and persuasion.
- Report regularly to Sales Manager on all activities relating to the role.
- Work as part of a team to develop the concept of One Team = One Organisation, taking ownership of challenges and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Manage the implementation of new accounts.
- Ensure the business is compliant and that all customer problems are resolved to prevent repetition.
- Undertake any other duties as required.
- Ensure correct use of internal systems to follow the product sales process.
- Ensure all leads are followed up promptly and quoted accurately.
- Complete accurate order form at point of sale.
Key competencies required:
- Previous experience within a Sales through service role.
- A successful track record in achieving objectives and KPIs.
- A determined, outgoing, and competitive attitude with a passion for Customer Care and a track record in negotiating and balancing customer needs/expectations within business KPIs.
- Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated and driven.
- Team player with the ability to always portray a positive attitude.
- Excellent telephone communication skills with a confident, approachable and professional manner.
- Excellent soft skills including listening, motivating, and communicating.
- Well presented with a positive and proactive approach.
- IT Literate: MS Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the ability to adapt to new CRM Systems, outbound dialler etc.
