Job Opportunity: Service Manager at Eastleigh Operation Centre

We have a great opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Operations Team at our Eastleigh Operation Centre. You will be responsible for managing and supporting a large team of service drivers who provide vital waste disposal products and services to our customers\’ premises in the south and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Centre Manager in managing productivity levels of the depot to ensure we maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Resource planning and supporting the development of all members of our service team.
  • Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and comply with relevant legislation and all health and safety policies, both at the centre and for all company vehicles.
  • Ensuring vehicles and equipment are checked and maintained to keep colleagues and customers safe.

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of management experience within the operations/transport logistics sector.
  • Transport management experience/CPC preferred but not essential.
  • An energetic and inspirational manager with proven ability to lead teams to meet customer expectations.
  • Hold a valid, full driving licence for at least 12 months (max 6 points) in accordance with company transport policy.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace, preferably IOSH trained.
  • Resource and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
