An excellent opportunity to join a respected national organisation, where you will play a key role in maintaining the highest technical and quality standards across our electrical services. As a Technical Auditor, you will visit customer sites to assess and verify electrical work completed by our field-based Electrical Engineers, ensuring all work meets required technical, safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out quality checks and verification on a required percentage of engineer reports, ensuring technical accuracy, grammatical correctness and compliance with British and ROI standards. Countersign where required.
- Conduct on-site and post-site inspections with field engineers to assess the quality of completed work.
- Provide technical feedback to regional management teams during bimonthly regional meetings.
- Investigate customer complaints and conduct audits where necessary.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to assess work objectively and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
- Willingness to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays, weekends or evening work.
- Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
- Eligibility to meet enhanced criminal records disclosure requirements.
- Understanding and commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in electrical testing and inspection.
- At least 6 years relevant post-qualification experience.
- Working knowledge of BS 7671.
- Understanding of Health & Safety umbrella legislation.
- Strong IT skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 Technical Certificates with relevant NVQ/SVQ Level 3 and AM2.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
- Current Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) qualification/update.
