HGV Class 1 S ervice Driver β Phs Teacrate β Curdworth
Summary Our Service Drivers are an integral part of our Business and are the central contact point for all our customers. As such we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, to ensure the delivery/collection of Teacrate products are carried out in a professional and courteous manner as instructed.
General Duties & Key Tasks To Deliver & Collect Teacrate Products as instructed.
To ensure that the Company vehicle provided is maintained as per Company procedures.
To be aware of and abide by Health and Safety regulations.
Responsibility towards Health & Safety.
To be aware of the Company ISO14001/ISO9001 procedures.
To respond to customer requests as directed by the Depot Manager.
To act as an Ambassador for PHS, being polite and courteous at all times.
Skills Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
Being able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative and at times, work independently.
Relevant driving license to be held and knowledge of the driving laws.
Good numeracy skills.
Good level of commitment, flexibility, and loyalty.
Good standard of fitness.
Essential requirement Full UK Class 1 Driving Licensefor a minimum of 18 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
The successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check
