Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Identify and target new business opportunities within the Electrical and Fire Safety compliance marketplace.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, and market research
Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate and close deals that align with phs commercial objectives and customer requirements.
Work with the Tenders team to prepare and submit bids for large contracts.
Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and compliance regulations.
Contribute to the development of sales strategies to penetrate new markets and sectors.
Work closely with Key Account Managers and operational teams to ensure smooth transition from acquisition to account management.
Leveraging CRM systems to manage pipelines, track performance, and optimize the sales process.
Success in this role will be measured against clearly defined KPIs, including new customer acquisition, revenue targets, and conversion rates.
Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to the Sales Director.
The right person for the role:
Proven track record in B2B new business sales
Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both face-to-face and written.
High energy, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
Knowledge of Electrical and Fire Safety compliance markets is highly desirable.
In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get:
A completive base salary of circa £55,000 (DOE) plus on target bonus of £17,500.
