We are looking for a talented individual to join our team on a Full Time and Permanent basis as a Laundry Operative situated at our Blackridge Operations Centre working with our Floorcare Hygiene Division which is part of the phs Group, the leading Hygiene Services provider in the UK.
The Laundry Operative role at phs will involve:
- Processing all mats available for washing to quality standards set by phs.
- Ensuring the service operation is provided with a high-quality service in terms of rapid turnover of mats and mats properly clean/dry.
- Maintaining all laundry equipment and associated items according to manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
- Keeping all records up to date.
- In the event of machinery breakdown, deciding on either undertaking minor works to fix the problem or notifying the Laundry Support Manager.
The ideal candidate for a Laundry Operative at phs will have:
- Understanding of laundry systems, machinery and processes.
- A methodical and logical way of working.
