Position: Credit Controller – Part-time, permanent, office based

Location: Caerphilly

Salary & Hours: £24,166.00 pro rata (£13,332.80 per annum equivalent). 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00 am–2:00 pm (no evenings or weekends).

Responsibilities:

  • Calls are via our predictive dialler on different campaigns.
  • Calls to facilitate payment of near‑due payments and outstanding arrears.
  • Collecting aged debt and taking steps to proactively reduce debt in its early stages.
  • Responding to calls in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with credit control or office-based cash collection is preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, assertive and respectful.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise in a busy environment.
  • Professional, polite, respectful, and confident – essential for a credit control role.
