This is a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join phs Compliance, one of the UK's leading providers of statutory electrical and fire safety testing and remedial services. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic relationships, and developing innovative solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating new business, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the Electrical and Fire Safety compliance marketplace.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals that align with phs commercial objectives and customer requirements.
  • Work with the Tenders team to prepare and submit bids for large contracts.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor activity, and compliance regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies to penetrate new markets and sectors.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers and operational teams to ensure smooth transition from acquisition to account management.
  • Leverage CRM systems to manage pipelines, track performance, and optimize the sales process.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to the Sales Director.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
