Customer Service Advisor | Office Based- Barnsley

Countrywide Healthcare is one of the UK's leading suppliers of healthcare consumables and equipment to the care sector.

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our friendly and growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, resolving issues, and delivering excellent service while supporting business growth.

The purpose of this role is to provide outstanding customer service by managing customer orders and enquiries across B2B, B2C and Mobility Store channels.

The role will focus on accurate order processing, after-sales support, and ensuring a positive customer experience at every stage of the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage customer enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face.
  • Provide alternatives for out-of-stock products and manage back orders.
  • Handle after-sales support including returns, credits, amendments and delivery queries.
  • Manage service tickets and ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and notes within company systems.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support business growth through upselling, cross-selling and promotions.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.
  • Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service or order processing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using CRM, ERP or ticketing systems.
