Location: London UB2 4SE.

Salary: £30,000. Full time position (8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday).

This is your opportunity to join our friendly and professional team as a Credit Controller at PHS Teacrate. We are looking for a special someone with great experience working within a Credit Management office-based role. If you have suitable experience, excellent listening skills and are a great communicator, we would love to hear from you. It's a busy role so you will need to be organized and enjoy working in a fast-paced business. You will be valued here, and our experienced and supportive team will be there beside you if you need guidance. If you are polite, professional, assertive with sound negotiating skills and a successful track record in cash collection in an office or call-centre environment we look forward to receiving your application to join us.

Responsibilities

  • Inbound and outbound calls to facilitate payment of outstanding arrears
  • Looking after customers enquiries and payments via email, phone and web accounts
  • Resolving complex queries relating to credit, debt and ledgers
  • Opening new accounts and processing credit checks
  • Collecting aged debt and resolving unallocated payments
  • Taking steps to proactively reduce debt in its early stages
  • Responding to calls and emails in a timely and professional manner

Ideal Candidate

  • More than 1 years' experience as a Credit Controller
  • Experience using SAGE and good working experience of using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • The ability to effectively prioritise in a busy environment
