At Phrase, we help open the door to global business by providing the world's leading Language Intelligence Platform. The Phrase Platform combines AI, agentic orchestration, and a headless, API-first architecture in one composable system. Beyond translation, it orchestrates and adapts content to culture, audience, channel, brand voice, and intended outcome in any language, for every audience.

We're reshaping how we plan and create content at Phrase. A new Content Working Group brings together demand generation, SEO and AI search, paid media, marketing ops, localization and creative under one strategic umbrella. The ambition is clear: every piece of content earns its place, engages in its own right and reflects the quality of the platform we build.

We're looking for a Senior Content Manager to sit at the centre of this. Someone who thinks editorially, obsesses over audience and brings the creative confidence to raise the bar across everything we publish. You'll own content strategy and planning, develop and maintain our content calendar, brief and manage writers, coordinate our design studio, and work alongside specialists in paid, organic, demand gen and localization who are collectively invested in the work.

This is a chance to shape a content function at a company that takes content seriously, in an industry going through one of its most fascinating periods of change.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Own the content strategy across the full marketing funnel, working within the Content Working Group to shape quarterly plans, balance priorities and ensure every asset has a clear audience, purpose and measurable goal.
  • Develop and maintain the content calendar to keep a consistent, strategically aligned publishing rhythm across channels and funnel stages.
  • Write, commission and edit content across formats: blog posts, reports, video scripts, campaign narratives, case studies, ebooks, email sequences.
  • Apply our editorial approach. We want content that people genuinely want to read, watch and share.
  • Compile and present content strategy and plans with confidence and conviction.
  • Coordinate the design studio, planning and prioritising their workload.
  • Harness AI with intention, applying our three-tier content model.
  • Fly the flag for content, promoting its value and celebrating what's working.
  • Track what's working using data and analytics to inform future content creation.
  • Manage the content budget, allocating resources across writing, design and production.

What you need:

  • 6-10 years in content marketing, editorial or content strategy, with meaningful experience in B2B technology or SaaS.
  • A strong portfolio that shows range: editorial flair, strategic thinking and the ability to shift between different content types.
  • Sharp editorial judgement.
  • Experience managing writers, freelancers or agencies.
  • Confidence with AI content tools.
  • A working knowledge of SEO and genuine curiosity about AI search.
  • Excellent project management instincts.
  • Energy! You bring momentum to the teams you work with.
  • Experience in localization, language technology or translation (not essential).
  • A background in journalism, editorial or publishing.
  • Familiarity with video content production.
  • Experience with HubSpot, WordPress or similar platforms.

Why this role is worth your attention:

  • You’ll be part of a Content Working Group that genuinely debates, challenges and collaborates.
  • Phrase is an AI company building technology that helps the world's biggest brands communicate across languages and cultures.
  • You’ll report to the VP of Marketing Strategy, Creative and Brand, with the autonomy to shape the content function.

What you’ll get:

  • Work experience in a successful and growing global SaaS company.
  • Be part of an international team in Europe, APAC, and the Americas.
  • An agile work environment, where it is encouraged to take smart risks.
  • A positive, open-minded, and innovative atmosphere.
  • Support in your professional development and personal career goals.

What's on top:

  • 4 company holidays additional to your regular holidays.
  • Christmas break without use of vacation allocation.
  • Your birthday off.
  • 2 giveback days for community support.
  • Professional and extensive onboarding.
  • Learning & development opportunities.

Phrase is committed to ensuring equal pay for equal work and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of their background.
