As a People Operations and Experience Partner, you will be at the heart of ensuring a seamless employee experience for our remote employees across the UK and Ireland while driving efficient People Operations. This part‑time role (20 hours per week) is designed for a proactive and detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced SaaS environment. You will oversee HR compliance, payroll processes, employee experience and people operations, ensuring a productive and positive workplace experience. This position requires a hands‑on, people‑first approach and the ability to work closely with stakeholders across the organization.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all People Operations related matters across the UK and Ireland.
- Ensuring compliance with UK & Irish employment laws, payroll processes, and HR best practices.
- Managing People operations, policies, and procedures across multiple HR systems.
- Organising employee engagement initiatives, including events and wellbeing activities.
- Overseeing payroll administration and benefits programs in accordance with UK and Irish labor regulations.
- Managing relationships with external providers, including payroll and benefits vendors.
- Supporting workforce planning, on‑boarding, and off‑boarding processes.
- Handling employee relations cases and conflict resolution with a solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Analyzing HR data to provide insights and drive informed decision‑making.
What you need:
- 2-3 years of experience in people operations or a similar role in the UK.
- Solid knowledge of UK and Irish labor law, payroll, and HR compliance.
- Business level fluency in English.
- Experience with HR systems (Personio experience is a plus).
- Proven experience in payroll preparation for external processing.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, international environment.
- Fully remote workplace.
